Edwardian GIA Shy 4.0ctw OLD EUROPEAN Diamond Engagement Antique Platinum Ring Edwardian Rings represent some of the finest examples of diamond, platinum jewelry in existence. Edwardian Diamond jewels were made to look as light and delicate as possible, reflecting the femininity of the Edwardian lady and complimenting the ethereal fashions of the time. Some essential identifying features of Edwardian Engagement Rings are delicate open pierced work and filigree work; designs incorporating gentle curves and scrolled patterns; fine milgraining, and tiny diamond accents (melee) . This breathtakingly beautiful Edwardian dazzler features a gorgeous 3.52 carat Old European-cut M color (the diamond is very light yellow under a powerful diamond grading light with a 10x loupe and faces up very well and looks warm white in natural light) SI2 clarity ( no obvious imperfections to the naked eye ) diamond enveloped in a sparkling platinum and diamond dome. Certified by GIA. GIA report # 2225225352. The measurements of the diamond are 9.24x9.74x6.34mm. These Old Euro Rounds are so magical! The facets are large, chunky and beautiful and the brilliance is tantalizing. The magnificent Bombe shaped ring sparkles on all sides with additional Old cuts G-H color, VS- SI clarity sides, totaling to estimated 0.40ct diamonds adorned with decorative hand piercing, and delicate milgrain details. The total weight of the diamonds is 3.92ct. Sits medium on the finger, very shiny and brilliant. The band tappers to 1.15mm on the bottom, sits 6.63 mm high from the top of the finger The weight of Platinum is 4.94 grams. Finger size 4.75, can be re-sized. Crafted in Platinum ( tested ).
