Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1920s
About the Item
A stunning Diamond solitaire ring supported by lovely deep blue sapphires, this ring is completely art deco. The centre stone is an old cut diamond, weighing 0.64 carats and has a grade colour of H and clarity SI1. EDR have certified the stone. The Sapphires are then rub over set within the collets of the mount. They are french cut and have a total weight of 0.12 carats. They are a gorgeous blue colour and work well with the detailed shoulders of the ring. The band and mount are made of platinum and the entire ring has been hand crafted. The intricate detailing on the shoulders will have been hand carved, which just adds character to the whole piece.
