Located in Southbury, CT
This vivid pink imperial topaz ring -hand-crafted in England over 180 years ago- is one of the rarest and most unapologetically regal rings you will ever encounter. A size 10.5 ring, it was originally created for a man. But could of course be worn by anyone today. In the era this ring was created, men wore pearls. And no man would feel uncomfortable wearing a flashy pink gemstone because there is absolutely no other gemstone that looks like this.
Topaz is a common gemstone and is typically white. It is irradiated to achieve its popular blue and pink colors. But naturally pink topaz is not common. It is in fact exceedingly rare, considerably rarer than diamonds. And this particular natural pink topaz gem is vividly saturated. It flashes purple. Having reviewed images of the pink imperial topaz necklace and earrings King Charles presented his wife, Queen Camilla...

Ruby 3 Carat Solitaire Certified Unheated Burmese Origin, French, Estate
Located in Southbury, CT
A spectacular -and exceedingly rare- certified natural and unheated Burmese ruby weighing just over three carats shines like a beacon from within the four-prong French mounting. Rubies over one carat are rare, and Burmese rubies are the standard against which all others are judged. The magnificent no-heat Burma ruby measures 9.8mm x 8.8mm and weighs 3.02 carats.
The platinum band is set with eighteen small, bright, and white diamonds weighing approximately .20 carats. There's a French purity mark on the rear, but the band bears no maker's mark.
The GIA classifies rubies as a Type II gemstone, meaning they are expected to contain inclusions. Many are so heavily included that they are opaque. Rubies, like blue sapphires, can also be so saturated -too saturated- that they appear dark. But this stone is bright and lively, a thrilling pinkish-red.
The inclusions within this ruby happen to be fascinating and -depending on your taste- uniquely beautiful. It's a prize of a stone. The stone is bright and displays the gorgeous natural crystal structure of the ruby gemstone. I'm a gemologist, so I find the interior of this ruby fascinating and beautiful and unique. I've included an ultra-macro image of the stone, backlit. It's a gorgeous stone. Keep in mind that the dramatic interior of the stone is hugely magnified in the image; on the finger it's just a beautiful ruby, as you can see in the video. I recognise that not everyone is as delighted by the internal crystal structure of gemstones as I am (I'm a gemologist, after all), so I have priced this ring accordingly. It presents a tremendous to acquire an enormous natural and un-heated Burmese ruby ring...

Chrysoberyl Cat's Eye Ring 12.5 Carats Milk & Honey Certified Men's Ring
Located in Southbury, CT
It's one of the rarest gemstones in the world, but most people have never heard of it: the chrysoberyl cat's eye. The stones are nearly as hard and durable as sapphire and are found in riverbeds in Sri Lanka. Often, they are a greenish-gray color; ideally, they are the color you see here, described as "milk & honey" because the milk-white "eye" slides through the "honey" colored body of the gem.
This incredibly high-quality, large, and impeccably-colored chrysoberyl cat's eye gem has a sharp, well-defined "eye" that slides across the stone as you move your hand. The simple, 18k yellow gold band mirrors the warmth of the stone and the simplicity of the design doesn't take away from the stone's inherent drama.
The color of the rare chrysoberyl cat's eye is a golden olive and represents the ideal for this gemstone. The stone measures 13.3mm x 10.2mm x 9.52mm and weighs just over 12.5 carats.
Because it is a very rare gem, and therefore most people have never seen one in person. If you're searching for a signature ring -durable enough for everyday wear- that not everybody else has on their finger, this may well be the ring for you.
I recognize that this is a perhaps surprisingly expensive ring...
