Platinum 1.14TCW Old European Cut Diamond Art Deco Engagement Ring
About the Item
If you are looking for an Art Deco engagement ring with major "wow" factor, this circa 1920-1930 platinum stunner fits the bill! Set with a gorgeous 1 carat center old european cut (OEC) diamond with VS1 clarity and G-H color, the geometric split shank of the setting allows the diamond to sing. The band, set with a further 0.14tcw of diamonds, tapers from the split shank into a soft knife-edge band for pure 1920s elegance.
The diamond measures 6.9mm in diameter, giving lots of finger coverage, and the band tapers from 4.88mm at the shoulders to 1.03mm at the back. While you may often see diamonds of this size sit high off the finger, this one is set low at only a 5.29mm rise off the finger, which allows for a more comfortable fit that is less likely to catch on things during daily wear. The ring is a US finger size 5 and is sizeable, though this is not a service that we offer.
