Royal Blue Kashmir Sapphire and Diamond Ring, circa 1920
About the Item
Royal Blue Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Kashmir sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.35 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.10 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire featuring double claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #108414.
