Early 20th Century Yellow Gold Serpent Ring

An early 20th century yellow gold serpent ring, the ring in the form of a coiled snake, with a carved head set with an old-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.15 carats, all in yellow gold, hallmarked Birmingham 18ct gold, 1919, in original box, gross weight 11.7 grams. Finger size T An early 20th century yellow gold ring in excellent condition. This bold ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This ring is a fine example of the serpent style, with an elegant coiled snake featuring a glittering diamond set into its head. This is a striking and sophisticated ring, and a true statement piece.
