Edwardian 18ct Gold Old Cut Diamond Two Stone and Sapphire Ring, circa 1915
About the Item
A very pretty early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, old cut diamond two stone set with sapphire shoulders, dating from circa 1915. The old mine cut stones weighting approx 0.15ct set atop the ring are nestled along side stone another. To the shoulders are calibre cut, millegrain set blue sapphires which are mounted in platinum - a common feature of jewellery of the period. This is a delightful antique ring with a very unique design.
