About the Item
This is a very special antique Victorian - Edwardian Ring in the form of a double Pansy Flower in gorgeous white and pale green enamel with a central antique Old Mine Cut Diamond. The beautiful double pansy flower is rare and is done with exquisite enamel work and in an elegant fully three dimensional design. I love the use of the refined green and white enamel in the flower petals. In the center of the petals is a sparkling old mine cut diamond. The ring is 14 Karat yellow gold. This delicate, romantic flower ring is sure to bring great joy to the wearer of this delightful treasure. The language of flowers was very important to the Victorians, and the pansy symbolizes love including romantic love and platonic affection. Pansies also embody thoughtfulness, compassion, remembrance, and free-thinking.
