Georgian Enamel and 18 Carat Gold Mourning Band

About the Item

This mourning ring holds a lock of plaited hair behind a glazed panel and the words 'in memory of' wrapped around the band along with black enamel. The engraving on the inside of the band reads 'Alice Grasby ob 15Sept1839'. Modelled out of 18ct Gold and fully hallmarked London 1939. Ring Size: R or 8 1/2 Band Width: 8mm Weight: 5g
