High quality, estate 18K gold and wood signet ring.
Classic design, possibly by one of the great European jewelry houses, nice patina with partial marks on the exterior. Attractively well worn.
Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Gucci were among the jewelers to combine wood and 18K gold in creating elegant designs like the one seen here. The two materials are beautiful together, gold symbolizes love, passion and magic and wood, strength and wisdom.
Very good condition commensurate with age, the interior wood is set in a hand hammered surround.
