In a 14 Karat Rose Gold Handmade setting, this Turquoise exhibits every characteristic of La Turquesa Turquoise from Baja California, which is nearly extinct today. Turquoise is said to be one of the first minerals to be used by man for use in jewelry, with its average hardness, made conducive to be carved into various forms and shapes. Also considered to be the most tranquil of the [aqua] Blue Gemstones. Common places known for quality Turquoise include Iran, Persia, Egypt, Northwest China, Mexico, & Southwestern United States.
This piece in particular possessing many fine characteristics of a desirable Turquoise Gemstone: very few impurities, even color, polish, cut, lack of heavy striation .. [Turquoise mined today would have at least 50% more veining] .. Furthermore, 90% of Turquoise mined today is a soft and chalky substance, used in mosaics & composites as an alternative to one single earth-mined Gemstone.
Turquoise bordered by 27 Round Brilliant cut Diamonds totaling 0.60 carats in a Halo design ranking a G-J Color & VS2-I1 Clarity.
