Stieff Repousse Sterling Silver Flatware Nine Piece Set, Service for Eight

About the Item

The iconic Repousse silverware pattern made its debut in 1828, making it the oldest sterling silver pattern produced in the United States. Repousse is the the process of embossing metal from the back by hammering and was used to create an embossed design on the entire stem and handle of the flatware.
