English Victorian Sterling Water Pitcher Jug by Holland Aldwinkle & Slater

About the Item

Antique Victorian era sterling silver water jug pitcher by Holland, Aldwinkle & Slater of London, England, circa 1894. Beautiful and elegant short and wide water jug pitcher, lightly hammered with ribbed design at top. Measures approx 7" high, 8 1/2" wide from tip of spout to end of the handle, 4 1/2" diameter opening, 3 1/2" diameter base. Weighs approx 865g, 556dwt Fully hallmarked on bottom with Holland, Aldwinkle & Slater hallmark of TS WS HH (indication Thomas Alfred Slater, Walter Brindsley Slater and Henry Arthur Holland) lion passant (indicating sterling silver) leopard (London city mark) T (date mark for 1894). Very nice antique condition, some tarnish and discoloration spots and light surface scratches. No major dents or dings. Will be packages securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
