Antique 9 Carat Solid Gold Half Hunter Pocket Watch
About the Item
A substantial 9 carat solid gold half hunter pocket watch by Syren Watch Company, Switzerland. Fully hallmarked Chester, 1922
With a gold winding crown and bow to the top, the outer engraved Roman dial on the case front with central glass and sprung release reveals the crisp white enamel Roman dial.
The dial has subsidiary seconds and original blued steel hands, the rear of the case hinge opening to reveal a gold cuvette cover adding additional protection to the fine nickel-plated movement.
The movement is fully jewelled with individual screwed chatons, Swiss lever escapement, with Breguet overcoil to the bi-metallic balance and finley calibrated and sprung regulation and signed by the maker ‘Syren, Swiss Made’’, gold winding crown and watch chain bow to the top.
This watch is in very good condition, has been fully serviced and runs well, keeping good time.
