The case and the bracelet were made from a special hardened aluminum alloy with a PVD coating added on top. This model was designed with a hinged case that allows the top portion to flip open by pressing the buttons on the side of the lugs. Inside, it reveals a compass and an emergency beacon mirror. In addition, all magnetic components were replaced with non-magnetic components to prevent any interference with the accuracy of the compass.
