Parisian Townhouse in New York

This elegant home mixes classical French and contemporary styles. The client lived in France for a time, and wanted to bring that aesthetic to their new home, while also remaining true to their minimalist lifestyle. The resulting interior combines custom traditional architectural details with clean contemporary lines. No detail was too minor to be customized, from the exceptional plaster moldings to the bronze stair railings. KSDS designed the architecture, much of the furnishings, as well as the cabinetry throughout. The remaining furnishings are contemporary, with the exception of a few judiciously chosen antiques.
