Chanel cream colour light velvet wedding dress, c late 60s This magnificent structured wedding dress is constructed from a light off-white velvet material. The bell-shape design inspired by Elizabethan period fashion for women is sculptural and simply adorned. The bodice is long with a peplum style skirting Featuring a round low-cut neck line decorated with a ruff pleated collar which is repeated at the cuffs. There is cording made of white and metallic threads around the neck line, the waist , cuffs and lower part of the skirt. The same cords is featured as belt on the front of the dress. Closure is with 7.2 inch metallic zip with 5 buttons covered with the velvet material The sleeves are long with ruff pleats. Shaped in a triangle and 3 tiered at the lower part and lined with plastic crinoline for structure.
