"Artona - Africa" sideboard by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto

About the Item

Extraordinary and rare version of the sideboard or console table belonging to the Artona series, model Africa, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and produced by Maxalto in the 1970s. Rare edition with all profiles in solid plywood of ebony and Brazilian rosewood, with top and sides in precious tuja burl. It features four sliding front doors in brick-colored leather with handles also made of leather, prente also on the back, making the cabinet placeable even in the center of the room being finished on both sides.
