Thanks to its large size, its structurally super sound condition and its timeless design this carved alabaster chandelier too is bound to light up someone's days and evenings soon. It is so structurally sound that it rings like a bell for quite some time when you strike it. This also is the case, because it is thick and heavy and beautifully rounded atop. The many small black veins contrast even more when the light is switched on. However, there also are many more translucent veins and patches and together they paint a picture that truly is a joy to behold, because those translucent veins too create patterns and colors that only Mother Nature is capable of creating. Even if we shot a hundred photos, you still would not be able to see the beauty of this shade and its unique patterns. The replacement black metal chain and the equally mint and height adjustable, large alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this work of lighting art. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy, safely mounting this pendant tight to your ceiling and over your junction box will take no more than a few minutes. The more translucent veins and patches (and there are many in this light) contrast perfectly when the light is switched on, because the already beautiful white alabaster then turns into a full moon like white, creating a look and feel that only mother nature can 'produce'. Thanks to its timeless design and combined with the matching color and large size alabaster canopy, this work of lighting art will look great in all kinds of rooms and in many types of interiors. We could again shoot 50 more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this antique light fixture, because in real life our antique alabaster fixtures always have that little bit extra and this pendant is no exception. This perfect size specimen is extra special, because of the perfectly balanced shade with its rounded edges. It was hand-carved from one solid rock of alabaster and apart from two reinforced hairlines on the inside, this unique alabaster pendant is in very good condition.
