It is a later model vintage Seamaster. Built at a time when the quartz revolution was taking hold and Omega was cutting costs. It measures 34.5mm in diameter, in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust. It previously had an expertly done restoration. It has fully Omega parts and presents in beautifully restored condition. The case, with its timeless design, presents as mint with only slight signs of previous polishing. The dial has been meticulously restored. The markers show light aging - otherwise it presents as mint, and the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. We have been trying to bring some of our long-term restoration projects across the finish line. Three of our Master Watchmakers have worked for over *11* years sympathetically restoring the watch to breathe new life into it again for future generations, and it became a much bigger project than originally anticipated (a $2195 value.) Our loss is your gain. As part of the restoration, the fine caliber 1010 movement has been freshly expertly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. We have also timed it on a machine that spins it in all directions simulating it being worn on the wrist, and it is keeping accurate time. For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity. Es una parte célebre de la tradición de Omega que el Speedmaster Professional Chronograph de la marca fue el primer reloj que realizó un alunizaje. Pero el amor universal por los relojes Omega vintage no se limita a los astrónomos, y la herencia de la empresa va más allá de la historia del Moonwatch.

Los orígenes de la casa se remontan a 1848, cuando el relojero suizo Louis Brandt abrió su primera tienda. Sus hijos Louis Paul y César tomaron el relevo tras su muerte y, en 1894, ambos desarrollaron un nuevo e intrigante movimiento.

Gracias en parte a su sólida reputación y a los vínculos de Omega con el ejército británico, se convirtió en el reloj preferido de James Bond en 1995, apareciendo en GoldenEye y en todas las películas Bond posteriores; volvió en 2021 en No Time to Die.
