About This Is Home Studio
This Is Home Studio is a Houston-based interior design and art practice founded by Luke and Ale Fortin. The studio creates layered, art-and-object-forward interiors shaped by curiosity, individuality and the lives of the people who inhabit them.
Rather than adhering to a single aesthetic, Luke and Ale bring old things beside new ones, serious art beside curious objects, and refinement beside imperfection. Art, antiques, vintage furnishings and collected objects are central to their work, creating rooms that feel evolved over time rather than decorated all at once.
The studio’s work ranges from complete residential interiors and individual room transformations to styling, art and object sourcing, and curation. Through The Collection, Luke and Ale also source and offer distinctive art, objects and furnishings selected for their character, craftsmanship, history and presence.
Based in Houston and working with clients near and far, This Is Home Studio believes the most compelling homes are deeply personal: spaces that reveal something about the people who live there and could belong to no one else. The studio’s work has been featured in House & Garden, London Life magazine and more.
