In this watercolor painting Annemarie Ambrosoli made several sketches on site and in the studio she then synthesized and made the final drawing geometric. The watercolor color tones are very soft and delicate. This painting depicts an autumn landscape with houses and trees.
The colors are ochre and red for the trees in the foreground and orange ochre for the roofs of the houses, while the sky has various shades of blue.
Overlays of transparent watercolor hues give an effect of depth.
