Two Men Around a Table is an original artwork realized by Paul-Franz Namur in the 1940s. Pencil on paper.
Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right margin. Passepartout and wood frame included (cm 30.5 x 39).
Good conditions except for some light discoloration on the upper margin in the center.
The artwork represents two male figures sitting at a table whilst talking. One of them wears a beret, is a soldier, and has a mustache. The pencil strokes show the great ability of the artist. The artwork was realized by the French artist Paul-Franz Namur (Valenciennes, 1877 - Antibes, 1958) illustrator, drawer, and portraitist.

Paul-Franz Namur
Paul-Franz Namur was born in 1877 in Valenciennes, France. Namur was a French painter, drawer and illustrator who realized portraits and landscapes. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Valenciennes, then in Paris at the Académie Julian. He was oriented at the same time towards the portrait, the landscapes and the allegories.
