Papillion -Limited Edition Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper, Abstract, 2018
Located in Bal Harbour, FL
Papillion, 2018 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Acid and Lignin-free. The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, created using high-quality archival cotton paper, ensuring its longevity and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The central image of the composition features a butterfly, but instead of traditional organic patterns, it is formed by a captivating arrangement of geometric figures. The butterfly serves as the focal point of the painting, capturing the viewer's attention with its bold and vibrant colors. Shades of fuchsia, blue, orange, green, white, black, yellow, and light blue interplay harmoniously, creating a visually striking and energetic composition. Upon closer inspection, one can discern that the butterfly's wings are constructed using a meticulous arrangement of various geometric shapes. As the viewer's gaze explores the painting, they may notice that within the composition, there are additional elements arranged in the form of eyes. These eyes, composed of circles of varying sizes and triangles, lend an intriguing depth and surreal quality to the artwork. They evoke a sense of introspection and invite contemplation about the interplay of perception and reality. Papillion, 2018 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Atacama Desert, Chile Pico Garcez
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Pico Garcez (b.1963, São Paulo, Brazil) In Love with Photography, Iconography and Painting, exercises his gaze from childhood when he began to play with his first camera. Practicing freedom of look and intuition, seeking aesthetic challenges linked to the observation of the image in subjects such as: solitude, reflections of emptiness and behavior. Awarded by The Art of Intuitive Photography in NY for 4 times, Pico also find his work in the permanent collections of: The Rio Art Museum (MAR), Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (MAM-BA) and Museum of Photography of Fortaleza among other international collections. Having contact with a work of art has to be transformative. This photographic essay by Pico Garcez leads us to this, puts the gaze, sees and sees in constant dispute. The meaning is hidden and this leads us to be co-authors. In Pico's UNCONSCIOUS-NEST, work is not the aesthetics or the colors that speak the most, instead they fog our critical eye, trying to distract us in the central core of which it treats. It is an experience to observe these images. Pico puts us & leaves us in a void where our own inner solitude surfaces - Not having to share with. Where is life, if not ours? We are part of this work for empathy, and in that, Pico was generous - letting us in. UNCONSCIOUS-NEST is not a geographical place, instead it lives in us and everywhere. It shows what we've done for ourselves - it's a pool without a ledge. – “I can but I will not ... - I am here! I want to die and die where I've touched my heart...

Under the Sea - Limited Edition Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper Abstract
Located in Bal Harbour, FL
Under the Sea, 2018 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Acid and Lignin-free. The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, expertly created on archival cotton paper, ensuring its longevity and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The composition transports us to the depths of the ocean, where the artist uses a mesmerizing combination of geometric shapes and vibrant colors to represent the small animals, plants, and corals that reside in the deep sea. The backdrop of the painting is a captivating blue, symbolizing the vastness of the ocean. Against this blue sea, a multitude of figures, expertly rendered with geometric shapes, appear to be swimming and floating. The artist's imaginative use of shapes and colors invites the viewer's imagination to explore the hidden wonders of the underwater world. A vivid and dynamic palette of colors enhances the enchanting atmosphere of the painting. Shades of green, orange, soft purple, fuchsia, yellow, purple, white, and black come together, evoking the vibrant hues found in the marine ecosystem. These colors breathe life into the artwork, capturing the diversity and beauty of the underwater environment.
