About the Item

There are many wonderful textures created within this piece of wood block. There are areas of this piece that are finished wood, and areas that are more distressed where the wood has been scratched or sanded away. Each mark on the wood reveals a different tone. This piece is includes predominantly oranges, yellows and browns. This work is both abstract and organic in nature. This piece is signed by the artist on the back of the piece. Carolyn Bardos is an artist, writer and dramatist who lives in Vermont where she maintains a studio. She has been recognized as a gifted artist of intensity and depth. Bardos has exhibited in Europe and throughout the Northeast.
