About the Item

Harmony (2023) is an oil painting on canvas by contemporary artist Annemarie Ambrosoli. The artwork measures 60x80x2cm. It is signed in the lower left corner and on the back of the painting. The artwork is framed. The frame is black shadow box design with a 1 cm golden profile and measures 63.5 x 83.5 x 3.5 cm. Certificate of Authenticity included. Annemarie Ambrosoli's oil technique consists of thin layers of color with a brush. The color is applied evenly. The various shades of the same color are never the same. The painted figures are a simplification of the human figure. The faces are decorated with jewelry and often the figures wear original hats. The mouth is the most important detail because with just a few lines it conveys joy, awe, happiness, harmony, love and more. The used colors are: green, blue, orange, red, yellow, brown, white. In this work, the figures are depicted in close proximity, exuding sociability and harmony. The luminous central portion symbolizes an aperture to the external realm. Vibrant colors infuse the scene with joy and transmit a sense of optimism. "In my artworks, I aim to capture not only the interplay between figures and the optimism they exude but also the vibrancy of color, conveying a sense of freshness."
