You are viewing an abstract expressionist painting by American female artist Harrier Holden Nash. Harriet was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and lived with her husband in Park Slope for over 35 years. She attended the Brooklyn Museum School at age 14 where she established her reputation as an abstract expressionist at the Brooklyn Museum School of Art. She later attended Cooper Union, and was under the tutelage of such esteemed artists as Louis Grebenak as well as Willem De Kooning.
