"To poetize the world by seeking the essence of beings". A trained actress, Linda Clerget extends her artistic field from theater to the visual arts through the practice of photography and painting. The artist seeks to create a poetry of links between humans and nature, dreams and reality, the human species and spirituality. His works, which navigate between figuration and abstraction, are imbued with vitality and raw beauty; vitality of the touch, of the color, of the dusting of the material... She builds a poetic and intuitive visual universe, which speaks to our sensations and our emotions before our intellect. The spectator is thus projected into "little paradises", waking dreams where time slows down.

- Contemporary French Fauvist Impressionist Landscape, Le Crépuscule. Pastel.Located in Cotignac, FRContemporary Fauvist Impressionist pastel of colourful landscape by Belgian artist Francis Besson. Signed to the very bottom right and presented in a custom white wood and patinated frame. A magnificent colourscape of reds, russets, blues, oranges and black. Whirls of colour shape this gorgeously sumptuous pastel of a landscape. The contrast between colour, light and shade make for a wonderfully impactful composition. The use of pastel softens the whole effect and gives an impressionistic feeling. Besson was born in Dundee (Scotland) in 1943 however as a young child moved to Belgium where he later became famous as an actor. His family kept a second home in Cotignac in Provence which he visited often until finally going to live there himself in the early 2000s. Francis Besson now lives and works in the beautiful village of Cotignac in Provence in the south of France. His often impressionistic almost pointillist work is inspired by the nature he sees around him in this lovely part of the world. The intensity of the light , the rocks and forests of Provence all feature in his paintings. He is known for both landscapes and abstract works and has often collaborated with other local artists. Le crépuscule...Category
