About the Item
Robert Goodnough was a well known artist in New York during the Post-War era and represented by important dealers. This tall graceful panel has a mate in case someone needs a pair of works to compliment each other on either side of a room or doorways. Can be purchased singularly. The cascade of triangular forms move both upward (soaring) and downward and convey a sense of music and nature simultaneously.
The Whitney Museum of Art gave him a one man show as did the Albright Knox Museum. His dealer in the day was famed Andre Emmerich and also Tibor de Nagy.
This composition is CLASSIC Goodnough and what is best in his work. Impressive, Uplifting and elevating
