JOHN LENNON 'WIRED' This is an opportunity to own a one-off piece of Music-Rock and Roll Memorabilia Painting by James Wilkinson Oil on board 2011 Mounted in imagine songsheets, framed & Glazed Overall Size 42ins ( 1066 mm ) by 32ins ( 813 mm ) Contains a microphone lead used by Lennon during the recording of Imagine at Tittenhurst Park. The painting contains one of seven known microphone leads used by John Lennon during the 1971 recording of Imagine. The lead creates the frame for Lennon's iconic wire-framed granny glasses. The The leads were purchased by the Artist after they were offered for sale by auction in 2011 as part of a sale of Lennon's recording equipment. Documentation for the auction and authentication for the leads are included with the painting. With an additional letter from the artists documenting the creation of the painting and how the lead (named Lennon lead 1, for authentication purposes) was incorporated into the painting.
