In this multi-faceted abstract expressionist landscape, painted with many nuances of color, and the extensive use of impasto layering to add emphasis, North Carolina artist Allison Chambers explores the very basic importance of always growing, seeking joy and peace in life's choices. Chambers' inherent goal is to present an abstracted interpretation of life using color and texture to communicate and share the beauty of nature and her experiences with the viewer. Chambers has presented this diptych with a 1.5" gallery wrapping painted in an organic taupe color, suitable to the subject matter, to enhance the transitional feeling of this pair of 30x30 oil paintings. Chambers is affiliated with the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionists Society. She offers teaching excursion to Provence, France annually. while maintaining her home and studio in North Carolina.
