About the Item
Charles Ford's work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York. This painting depicts S&S nail salon in New York City. From the gates to the "No Parking" sign to the worn looking store sign, you get a great feel for the city and the time of day this painting was created by Mr Ford's wonderful use of cast shadows.
