Oil on canvas depicting a scene of Fishermen by a lake, Dutch landscape. Signed on the lower left corner of Pieter Cornelis Dommersen. Painter of Dutch seas and landscapes, in London at the end of the 19th century. He exhibited between 1865 and 1878 at the Royal Academy at Suffolk Street and at the British Institution. English school of the late 19th century. Dimensions without frame : 46.8 cm (18,1 inches) X 58.5 cm (22.8 inches) X 6 cm (2.3 inches) Dimensions with frame : 62.5 cm (24,4 inches) X 74 cm (29.1 inches) Excellent Conditions within original giltwood frame. Canvas has been re-lined mid 20th century.
