Leonard Mizerek
Sunset at the Brooklyn Bridge, NYC original 36x60 impressionist landscape

About the Item

Brooklyn eclipses Manhattan, as the glow of the sunset softens the Manhattan skyline and causes the Brooklyn Bridge to sparkle. The multitude of soft, layered colors, subtle lighting and precise brush strokes refine this original oil painting to perfection. This most iconic of symbols of New York City is a master piece by Leonard Mizerek, one of the very few living Fellows of the prestigious American Society of Marine Artists, and an elected member of the Oil Painters of America, a leading marine artist of our time. Originally hailing from Wyeth territory, the Brandywine region of Pennsylvania, Mizerek now shows in the permanent collection of three museums internationally, is an elected member of the Guild of Boston Artists and has been featured extensively in magazines such as "Fine Art Connoisseur" and "American Art Collector." The painting is framed in a slightly distressed antique gold frame with clean lines, suitable for both transitional and traditional interiors. The unframed size is 36x60,
