Here for consideration is a richly painted in a thick impasto technique; a vibrant and stylized vase overflowing with poppies and sunflowers. Signed by the artist Edith E. Ferullo lower right “Ferullo” and dated 1974. Condition of the painting is excellent. The painting is housed in a period burnt orange period wood frame in
fine condition. Overall framed measurements are 31 by 16 inches. Provenance: A Ellenton, Florida collector.
Edith E. Ferullo was born in 1928 and is known for her mid century and post modern paintings including still lifes, portraits and abstractions. She lived in Florida for many years and died in 2008in Fort Lauderdale. She exhibited her painting at the Broward Art Guild and in City Hall in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
