About the Item
This unique silver gelatin print actually started out as a demo print for my virtual diy darkroom class ("No Enlarger Necessary"). Mixed process triple exposure with flowers and glitter. Exposed by sparkler. [It landed in my ongoing award-winning "Metamorphosis" series (which is still winning awards to this day)].
I began making photograms with alternate light sources due to having an unfinished darkroom at the time of the shutdown. 2.5+ years later, I am working on my 5th alt process silver gelatin series, and my processes have come a LONG way.
All of my images are essentially (subconscious) self-portraits (or “natural equivalents”), which reveal themselves during my printing process; However, in the case of my photograms, the titles correspond to what I see in the images.
