Collines is an abstract color lithograph realized by Alfred Manessier in 1960. Signed and numbered on plate. Edition 31 of 160 prints. Publication: L'oeuvre Gravée, Zurich (Paris). Exhibited in occasion of the homonym exhibition Manessier at Galleria Editalia, Rome 1975. This splendid artwork is preserved in very good conditions. Alfred Manessier (Saint-Ouen, 5 dicembre 1911 - Orléans, 1º agosto 1993) was a French painter, stained glass artist, and tapestry designer, part of the new Paris School and the Salon de Mai. Finding inspiration in the wonderful natural landscapes of his native region, he began to paint landscapes very young. The artist himself described his style using these words:" It's the passages between things which interest me, Something circulates amongst all forms of human experience ensuring a profound unity".
