"Familar Scene" is an original print in etching technique on ivory-colored cardboard , by Maurice Asselin (1882-1947). In very good conditions. Sheet dimension: 18 x 27.5 cm Image Dimensions: 9 x 12 cm This is an original print representing a familiar scene: a man and a woman standing in the kitchen. Hand-signed in pencil, on the back of the print. Maurice Asselin (1882-1947): French painter and engraver. Maurice Asselin is known in particular for his female figures, including numerous nudes, often captured in maternity scenes, in which he reached rare levels of delicacy. He was also the author of valuable still lifes and landscapes of Brittany, as well as a skilled watercolorist.
