1967

About the Item

Medium: lithograph. From the "In Memory of My Feelings" portfolio, printed in 1967 on Mohawk Superfine Smooth paper in a limited edition of 2500 and published in New York by The Museum of Modern Art. Not signed. Michael Goldberg was one of the New York artists invited to contribute original compositions in homage to poet Frank O'Hara (1926-1966) for the "In Memory of My Feelings" project in 1967. The lithograph itself measures 12 x 9 inches (303 x 227 mm) and the entire sheet size is 12 x 18 inches (303 x 455 mm). There is a fold in the middle and the poem is on one side. Since the full sheet is a bit large for our scanner, the second photo shows most but not quite all of the composition.
