Soldiers is a wonderful colored lithograph on paper, realized in 1971 by the Italian artist Marcello Ercole.
Hand-signed and numbered in pencil on the lower margin. Edition of 100 prints .
This contemporary artwork, representing some soldiers with flying Birds, realized with vivid colors, is in excellent conditions.

Marcello Ercole (1926-2020), present for a long time on the Italian and international artistic scene, starts his career in Paris, Bern and Rome where she trained by attending the studios of the artists of Via Margutta - elected as a city residence of many Italian and foreign artists - and Villa Strohl Fern - villa located within the park of Villa Borghese - where the likes of dCapogrossi worked, Melli, Cavalli just to name a few and which today is remembered as one of the places of the ¿900 artistic and, in particular, of the so-called "Roman school".

Marcello Ercole
Marcello Ercole was born in Luco dei Marsi in 1926. His first artistic experiences were in Paris and Berne, but he trained in Rome attending in the ‘50s. Ercole studied in Via Margutta and Villa Strohlfern, where painters and sculptors worked among the most fashionable of the post-war period.
