About the Item
Original Week End Impermeabili Italian vintage fashion poster. Archival linen backed in fine condition, ready to frame. Grade A condition. Printed by Ind. Graf. C. Re & C. Milano, Italy. 1952.
A small company produced vintage posters for their company in limited or small quantities. Only a few of these Italian vintage posters survived, and this one is in great condition. The poster is 70 years old.
Impermeabili translated means water resistant and the name used for raincoats. Before the invention of waterproof outerwear, you would need to carry an umbrella to stay dry. I presume if you are riding on top of such a horse and carriage you would need this to stay dry, while your clients are comfortable inside!
