George Long received his BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in 1995 and currently lives and works in Atlanta. Group exhibitions have included the International Kunstler Kolonie Exhibition,Nuremburg, (and residency), The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (2007 Biennial and 2012 "Day Job: Georgia), the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art, Jacksonville, FL, the Zuckerman Museum, Kennesaw, GA, Art on the Beltline, Atlanta, GA, Paco Sas Artes, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Tempus Projects, Tampa, FL, Dalton Gallery, Agnes Scott College, Georgia, and Brenau University, Georgia. Eli Ilan (אלי אילן), 1928-1982 was an Israeli sculptor.
Abstract organic pod shape. in either steel or iron mounted on a wooden plinth.
Ilan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He enrolled in a premedical curriculum at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and emigrated to Israel in 1948. He then studied prehistoric archaeology and physical anthropology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1956, he returned to Canada to study sculpture at the Ontario College of Art & Design. He lived in Kibbutz Sasa from 1959 to 1963. He died in 1982 in Caesarea, Israel.

Peter Kirkiles Biography
American, b. 1966
Sculptor Peter Kirkiles stresses that the inspiration for his metal sculptures comes from the satisfaction of the process of fabricating a piece in a skilled manner and from his attraction to everyday objects and their relationship to humans. He finds beauty in the utilitarian tools, and objects that we may not notice in our day to day lives. By playing with their size and their proportion to human scale, he forces the viewer to examine more closely the object’s construction and its overall design importance. He has a nostalgia for well designed, well used, history laden objects.

Kirkiles holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tufts University, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts and a Masters of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has exhibited nationally including a 2021 solo exhibition “At Scale” at the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Vermont. His work is held by The Shelburne Museum, The New Britain Museum of American Art, New Britain, CT and by private collectors throughout the US.

SKULLS "ALPHABET" series:
The project is dedicated to the horrible events that took place on the territory of Ukraine, to the memory of the known and unknown heroes, ordinary people who were killed.
The project is represented as eight skulls made of bronze, brass, and steel that are placed on small stands.
It symbolizes hope and faith in the fact that war is going to end and everything will be good.
ABOUT ARTIST
Born on 27 May 1985 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. From 2005 to 2011 studied at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, at the Faculty of "Fine Arts" specialty "Easel and monumental sculpture." Now studying postgraduate at Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Works are in private collections in Ukraine, Israel, Germany, USA, Australia, Finland, Holland, Spain, Belgium, England.
