An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver mustard pot made by Edward & John Barnard; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical form. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced interlacing scrolling leaf designs. The upper and lower rim of this sterling mustard pot is ornamented with an applied bead decorated border. This fine mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged domed cover surmounted with an impressive interlacing tri-lobed thumbpiece. This antique piece is fitted with an opposing scroll handle ornamented with a plain scrolling thumbpiece. The mustard pot retains the original removable blue glass liner. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of cover are all very clear; the maker's mark to the interior of the cover have wear in keeping with age. This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain circular form. The body of the mustard pot is encompassed with an exceptional and impressive band of bright cut engraved interlacing decoration accented with a simplified leaf motif. The decoration to the body incorporates a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting an eagle rousant, with wings addorsed and inverted, collared and chained, with an unidentified charge. The upper and lower rims of this fine example of Victorian silverware are ornamented with an impressive applied bead decorated border. This mustard pot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover encircled with an exceptional interlacing eight-pointed star motif with a central floral design. A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver Louis style spirit kettle; an addition to our antique silver teaware collection. This magnificent antique Victorian Louis style silver spirit kettle, in sterling standard, has a baluster form. The surface of this antique silver kettle is embellished with exceptional chased floral sprays accented with scrolling leaf borders and trellis patterns. The decoration to the kettle incorporates a large scroll bordered shaped vacant cartouche to either side. This antique silver kettle is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover encircled with further chased floral decoration with a cast and applied scrolling border to the shaped rim. The cover is surmounted with the exceptional and original fine and impressive cast sterling silver finial; the finial secures to the interior with a screw fitment. This exceptional example of antique teaware is fitted with an impressive sterling silver handle ornamented with an impressive central foliate design to the handpiece, incorporating an oval vacant cartouche. The handle is further ornamented with impressive opposing scrolling terminals in junction with the body. The exceptional kettle detaches from the original hallmarked cast sterling silver stand, supported by three impressive scrolling legs to magnificent leaf decorated feet. The upper portion of the stand is embellished with impressive scrolling leaf and floral decoration. The stand incorporates a plain scrolling frame which retains the original hallmarked detachable spirit burner; the burner is encircled with bands of thread decoration.
