As the sun moves through the sky, the green and purple lenses of Ryan Van Der Hout’s ‘Chromatica’ capture the light and cast colourful shadows. Van Der Hout’s powder-coated steel sculptures were inspired by their work as a professional photographer. This compelling modernist piece features five hand forged black steel poles that fan out from the center and are top and tailed with five disks of framed glass. Their vision was to create pieces infused with light and motion. Polished Stainless Steel Abstract Sculpture. Beautiful lines. The artist has perfected a seamless pairing of the materials so it appears flawless. Can be inside or outside. On circular base that is 16" in height and 60" in circumference. Base can be changed. The stainless piece is about 11' without the base and about 5' from tip to tip. Easy maintenance if outside.
