Oliver Flores Art

b. 1979

Oliver Flores is an illustrator, designer, painter and instructor, whose work has been included in publications such as Spectrum 21: The Best of Contemporary Fantastic Art (2014) as well as the Society of Illustrators of New York (2012). He is a member of the Mexican Society of Watercolor Painters (2016). His artwork has been the subject of several group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad. Flores lives and works in Guadalajara, Mexico.

This is a Gyotaku method painting of two fish on a mulberry paper background. This fish impression using minimal color is akin to a fossil.
