A beautiful large Middle Eastern brass box in Mamluk Cairo ware, Islamic inlay metal charger artwork. Exquisitely decorated, the box is engraved, embossed, inlaid and overlaid with silver, copper and brass interlacing patterns, tendrils and Islamic calligraphy inscriptions The brass box has a hinged lid and a locking clasp with green interior cloth lining.
