The superb altar coffer with a floating panel top, inserted within the rectangular frame ending with everyted flanges, five drawers decorated with relief carved floral and foliage carving and iron studds, above two doors opening to an open storage space, the side panels open-carved with dragon motif, the side posts continuing to form the feet, braced with cusp curvilinear apron Black lacquer over elmwood, Shanxi 18th century 100"x17.5"x34.5"H (254cmx44.5cmx88cmH) HK$38,000.
