Chinese Qing Dynasty Altar Cabinet
About the Item
Antique, late 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty altar cabinet.
This beautifully restored altar cabinet, originally used to place offerings for ancestral worship holds three frieze drawers over double cabinet doors giving an extensive storage area within.
The decorative side spandrels are carved with a floral motif.
The altar top extends with Everted Ends and the base has a traditional brass door pull.
The brass door lock, in circular form, emulates the full moon.
