Chinese Phoenix Bird Cloisonné Enamel Over Brass Bowl
About the Item
A vintage Chinese enamel over brass bowl. The interior of the bowl is adorned with polychrome images of Phoenix birds in blossoming trees and flowers, medallions with mythical creatures surrounded by floral, foliage, cloud and wavy motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The exterior features cloud, wavy, swirl ornaments made in the same technique. Circa: the first half of the 20th century. Unmarked.
