About the Item

A fine Antique Japanese Cloisonne enamel butterfly Plate. Meiji Period. Worked in silver wire of varying gauge with many colorful butterflies, reserved on a blue ground. The bottom with a pale green enamel. Size: 15 cm in diameter. Condition: The usual wear of enamel, refer to photos. There is a small area to the edge with loose enamel and where is a bit bended- barely noticeable, see all photos.
